100% Climate Neutral Globally

Woods Bagot became 100% climate neutral in December 2006. The initiative offsets the environmental (CO2) impacts of all aspects of our business through the purchase of ‘Gold Standard’ carbon credits from the Australian organisation, Climate Friendly. These credits are used to fund renewable energy projects, effectively offsetting our impact on the environment.

We will offset 2,646 tonnes of CO2 per annum, which equals the emissions of 530 cars. We will continue to monitor our impact on the environment as individuals and as a business, and constantly look at means of best practice.

Woods Bagot undertakes a range of other green initiatives. These include: - walking or taking public transport to work - recycling - employing ‘green switching’ in all studios - the establishment of Green Teams - training staff to become Green Star Accredited Professionals.
