In January 2007 Woods Bagot was named the winner of an international design competition for an Advanced Study Centre and new Business School for Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The development comprises of the following parts:

The School of Business Management
The building is punctuated by a series of visible case study rooms or “knowledge lanterns”.

The Institute of Advanced Study (IAS)
The IAS is designed to be an iconic building that will draw world renowned intellectuals to the university.

Hotel Accommodation for School of Business Management (SBM)
Luxury hotel style accommodation for visitors to the SBM
